Yeah, I know its been done, but I just wanted to say its an easy mod. I don't know if it will work with a stock fan, but my super cheap Nissan Maxima fans work FANtastic. They move a lot of air and can be had for $50 new on ebay. I even run them on my Ford truck with a 5.4. No overheating issues even in summer in southern AZ. With a little trimming, they fit perfect on the SC - though I had to trim my battery tray a bit.

The radiator looks like it is a little lacking in weld quality, so we'll see how it holds up. For $200 shipped, you can't lose. Megan is based in California, so I assume they are made in the US. I know there is still something wrong with my engine that was causing the overheating, but this 3 row radiator cools enough to compensate.

I have run one of those 16" fans in the past. The A/C didn't work as well and the temp climbed at stops. These "gay ass fans" rock.  I really don't care how it looks under the hood - and barely outside the hood since the wreck.

Because it doesn't matter how much CFM you pull through the fan, it matters how much CFM you pull through the radiator. My radiator isn't only 16 inches. A single fan is "gay" because it reduces the cooling capacity of your radiator at idle unless you have made a custom shroud which covers the entire face of the radiator. I have run single 16" fans on past projects. This setup is cheaper, quieter, and cools better.
