No, he was replacing tires every 3-4 weeks cause of the horrible camber/toe on his RX8, and the rears were cracked on the inside lip, but already fixed. They have flaws, but very minor..plus he was broke and had bills due

Ok fella's, almost ready to pull the 2j and auto trans out, clean the engine bay and get it ready for the DGR mount kit for the LS1/T56

BUT, I need an opinion. I was thinking of painting my engine bay, but not sure what color would flow decently with the garnet pearl exterior..any suggestions, with pics?

black will go with any kinda color dude....
well not a same vehicle but im rebuilding my boss's 67 pontiac tempest and we've jut painted ferrari red (with pearl) outside and black engine bay.

I had though about black, but I kind of want something that "pops" when you open the hood, but nothing too ricey..if thats even possible.

then white? it really pops depends what motor color you have.... if it's black? black engine bay will blend everything in one. but if it's white it will show you everything you got.....

Well Im going to go with red GTO upper covers, with graphite Lexus emblems, LS6 intake with a chrome cover, and when the time comes, chrome turbo housing and i/c pipes. I will also be polishing the pulleys, and a polished 85mm TB, but the car may end up either being satin black, or matte midnight indigo pearl on bronze FNO1's..hence the confusion on an engine bay cover
